Real World Key West contestant arrested

A cast member on MTV's The Real World: Key West has been arrested for allegedly biting her boyfriend during a domestic dispute. Paula Ann Meronek, 25, is said to have sunk her teeth into him after he refused to let him into their Connecticut home early on Sunday morning, police said. She has been charged with third degree assault and could now face up to a year behind bars. Boyfriend John Alyward, 24, was charged with disorderly conduct after the bust-up, Cromwell police said. Reality TV show The Real World is now in its 17th series. The current show puts seven house guests together in a beach house in Key West, Florida. A producer said the new season - which features Meroneck - had already wrapped so the arrest would not affect the show.
